RWD Project & Development
3 Attachment(s)
Quick introduction to an ongoing project we are going to be chipping away at through the shop.
Picked up a clean-title 2002 Monte Carlo SS chassis. Stripped the motor, transmission, interior, seats and etc. This is currently what it looks like... Attachment 23401 Attachment 23402 Attachment 23403 As long as these cars have been out, I have always wanted them to be RWD. The owner of the salvage yard next to me has a pro street Monte he put together roughly 6 years ago, and the concept is really cool....but I want to build something super street-able that retains a mostly OEM appearance. In the process I am going to try and make all the suspension components as easy to reproduce as possible. I will keep this updated as much as possible as I progress. |
Ive always wanted mine RWD also. I wish i had the skills and knowledge to even attempt a build like that. how much frame/suspension/tunneling are you going to do? or have you even gotten that far yet?
Definitely keep updates coming, and if you need another one to convert, dont hesitate to let me know......Good Luck! |
Is RWD -the only thing your doing to it? what motor are you going to drop in it? this is going to be one sick build, best of luck to you, keep the updates coming

Cool project. Keep us updated with pics :)

I love hearing about these builds. Keep us posted. What would be a good ballpark estimate all together if I was to have this done by a professional?

Any updates on the project? Hope all is going well for it
