thought I'd see how big the trunk is on my lunch break, so layed in there... Oddly comfy! Lol could have taken a nap! A few things

Front speakers are toast, back sound a little crispy, and...
Stock door speakers in the 6x9 hole....



Was planning on buying speakers anyways.. but really! Who does that!
Then getting the converters so I can run my subs off the stock stereo

 

That's odd that someone wouldn't just replace with the correct size haha..

What brand of speakers do you have in mind for replacements?

be careful when getting aftermarket speakers, remember they tend to not sound so good on the stock headunit and amp

 

Not sure yet always like alpine but we shal see if I go that route it won't be for a while

right it did make me laught oddly enought it doesn't sound that bad unless it's down low that's when it's crispy

There will be some research before buying

I'm guessing the door speakers in the 6x9 hole were probably freebies he got somewhere. Did they at least have the 6x9 speaker grill over top of the hole?

 

i have always heard that truely circle speakers are better than the odd shaped ones(6x9)(4x6)....i dont know if this is true but i have heard this for years and years.....front speakers from the trunk lol

 

Man, I know nothing about sound systems, I feel stupid when I see threads like this :p

 

what are speakers...you mean nooone else drives around with a boombox? lol
