Quickest way to 300 HP!?
 

i eventually want to get up to 300 hp. what mods are the best way to get there?
headers, tune, pulley downsize on the supercharger?

any recommendations ? i already have a CAI in so what should i do next?

(also as a side note, could an 05 monte ss beat a 98 mustang gt stick?)

I'd say headers/exhaust would be a good start. More flow is always good. :thumbsup: Do you have any other performance mods besides CAI currently?

Why aim at such a low hp number, lol. Anyways, turbo is the quickest way to shoot WAY past 300hp (even 300whp for that matter). I wouldn't waste my time with a s/c setup. A turbo is cheaper in the long run but more expensive up front.

On the side note, a 98 GT will spank an 05 SS pretty good (assuming both driver's are competant). You're comparing a high 13 second car with a high 14 second car.

Sence when is a 4.6 mustang a high 13 second car? Most i see only can go mid 14s

Id say not to forget the downpipe too. IF you have the $$$ go turbo.

i just gotthe whole top swap parts for 300.00 dollars and some extra goodies now just to get them on and tune this thing...but did you read modding 3800 safley

I had the smae thought. From what I've gathered from the previous disscussions the supercharger isnt well liked over turbo. Wish I'd have know that before I bought my car lol

Intake, 1.9 rockers, headers, colder plugs, pulley, tune.

Get an 06/07 SS then you will have 303hp:rotfl::rotfl:
