Question for a friend

Sooo a friend of mine on the GM Forum just asked me if the seats from a 95 monte will fit a 92 bonneville & I told him that I wasn't really sure so I'd ask some of my monte friends over here about it. Soo yeah I'm not really familiar with the 5th gen monte interior or the 92 bonnie interior but hopefully someone on here will be able to help us out here, thanks! :)

I don't see why they wouldn't fit, the body of the car shouldn't be smaller, he may have to take the mounting rails with the seats and just redrill them into his car though.

I doubt it will be pull and play.

(completely nothing to do with the question you asked. but a story I've posted before)

A local swap meet about 10 years ago, I ran in to a guy selling a set of bucket seats that caught my eye. He told me the seats came out of a LeBaron convertible his daughter owned and he scrapped. I got to looking at the seats pretty closely cause I really felt they would fit a '81-88 Monte. They weren't a 100% match to the seats in my '86 LS But they were close. He initally wanted $50 for the two seats. Then he came down to $25. I offered $20 and he took it. I wasn't trying to rip the guy off. Just offered what I could afford.

I went to take the seats and noticed a paper stuck in the passenger one. I removed it and on the build sheet it had printed "1985 Monte Carlo."

So they were Monte seats after all.

Funny part was, Mike from Mike's Montes had been there before me, looked the seats over and left them lay.
