Proud new Monte owner! ;D

Hey guys, new to the whole monte world I recently purchased a 2006 Monte carlo ss. Sadly its in the transmission shop right now.

Is the transmission used in this year model notorious for going bad?

aww man, well ive told him to do anything possible to bulk up the trans. So hopefully we can avoid this problem in future situations with more HP!!

Welcome to the forum....... And already the HP bug has manifested itself within you.... There are specific mods that can be done to your tranny in relation to the amount of HP your ultimately going for, and how deep of pockets you have. Nice to have another Monte member onboard. Where are you from?
