Brief Electrical Glitch?
So I was taking my girlfriend back home the other night, about 13 degrees out, and the car ran great going to her house. I got there, walked her to the door, and hwen I got back in the car after it had idled for a few minutes (because it was still cold inside), I threw it in gear, and the lights, radio, and blower motor all got weak for like a half second and hten came right back to life... it happened to a lesser extent when I went from reverse to drive and hasn't done it since. Should I be worried that this is a precurser to something bigger and badder?

honestly I wish I could help, but I would trade the torino and the monte in and get a Mustang Duane...

ps: I am a postwhore to the max...

I think it maybe because of all the stuff you had turned on. That happens to me on really cold days when I have the defroster, rear defogger, heated seat, and such, all turned on at the same time.

Yeah, the RPM's did drop ever so slightly. I'm thinking the cold may have had to do with it too. No rear defrost though. Heater on wide open, radio just barelly on, the headlights, brake lights, and then putting it in gear... it was like the whole cars electrical system died for half a second though. No heated seats... my @$$ just tolerates the cold.
