Polishing Even More
 

Sence i got the front mounts polished i very well couldnt leave the ones on the motor alone so i removed one & roughed it in, gonna finish it out tomorrow :thumbsup:

and keep thinking it needs buffing & the Alt...LOL

Nope i dont :rotfl: its a show car only now so im finally doin whst i want & yeah ima polish my alt next as soon as i figure out how to dissassemble it lol

The alternator should come apart pretty easy. There are only a few screws holding it together. Now get polishing.

Should look pretty awesome with all that polished stuff all said and done lol

I think yours is cast iron & itll all look good once its done

One is cast Iron , other is Aluminum..

I read somewhere that these alternators are a pain to get apart, i think theres soldering involved :rolleyes: im probably going to paint mine, it looks like crap :rotfl:

Polishing the alternator will suck lol.. I started to polish mine but it was just too much. The metal is a little different than most. IDK what it is but it's extremely hard compared to mounts/etc.

The mounts on the engine side will look cool. I polished my drivers side one but I have the cast iron mount on the passenger side so idk how I feel about one polished and one painted.

Im polishing both mine,but one wont come off :rotfl:

any idea how to get 2 Al mounts instead of one Al + one Fe?

I need to find a chrome one

I just took the bolts off :confused: it was really easy

I think painted valve covers would look best with all of that other polished stuff.. I kinda wish I had painted ones instead of going with polished ones.. I just have too much lol :rotfl:
