Picked up a 6th gen
 

Got rid of my 98 5th gen and picked up this 04. Me and my dad did all the body work and my neighbor sprayed it for us.

very nice :) what was he welding up there????? looks really good, i hope you didnt paint it with all the parts on the car.

He was welding the bumper back on to the frame. It got hit pretty hard in the front right corner. We had to straighten it on the frame rack a lttle. It was painted with the bumper covers off and all trim and moldings removed. The paint was sprayed around all edges to prevent peeling and eventually rust.

It's looking pretty good! You can appreciate the Monte a little more when you do so much work to it.

The guy who owns the shop we were working in. He is also the one who sprayed the paint on my car.
