You are looking at probably $800 mainly because of the custom 2 color, and the whole hood and trunk were wet sanded and clear coated along with the stripes to seal them in. Did you see the thumbnails I posted with better pics? I think you did. I took pics of the whole process from start to finish. Where do you live?

Where is his shop? There are a few monthly ones here and some out in PA. Elizabeth is more north Jersey.
the shops located in toms river nj. FCA(first choice auto) on route 37w.

yeah i definitely think the suction cup idea would work.

Nice stripes indeed.... they do make a VERY nice vinyl kit for striping... If I would have known about them before, I would have had vinyl stripes on my LS, but now that I have a Dale Jr. I sadly cannot do striping to the hood and rear as you did

Well, since I had a SS, I wanted true old school Chevy SS stripes, but with a twist(the red around the silver). I like that it is custom painted and clear coated in with the rest of the paint. No chipping, peeling, fading etc. like vinyl. Its all covered over and protected, one smooth layer, part of the car. They do make some vinyl striping kits that are nice. It was the first thing I had done to the car.
