Default New pics...tints, painted emblems...

These are the newest pics with the 20% tints I had done last week and the new black bowties I did this weekend. I'm waiting for the black center cap overlays in the mail. Those should be here shortly and done quickly.

I was considering painting my bow ties black as well. How did you go about this process?

isn't there an overlay for them? Would probably be a lot easier.

Yes, but the overlay doesn't cover all of the copper bow tie. Godbot has a method that works great, but I was just wondering what this guy did.

That's because you remove the stock bowtie and put the new overlay in it's place. It's real easy.

I did exactly as Godbot did and it turned out great. Although you may want to sand the clear plastic a bit with a 1500 rate or so because the plastic itself actually has a yellow tint to it and you'll wanna get as much off as possible. Let me know if you have any other questions.
