Talking My Monte Carlo

Hello,

I just bought a 2005 Monte Carlo SS. It has less than 7000 miles and is in great condition. I've been a Ford Mustang guy for the past 20 years ('89GT, '93 LX 5.0 Coupe, '04 GT), but I got a good deal on the Monte Carlo and I love the way it looks and drives. Here is a few pics of it on the dealer's lot:

I would like to boost it's power a bit though, but without dropping too much money or doing anything that may harm/shorten the life of the engine. My brother suggests a cold air induction kit, and I'd appreciate any input/opinions/info on that suggestion. As well as suggestions what specific kit I should consider. I also plan on tinting the windows a bit darker.

Thanks.

There is a stickied thread in the intake section on our forum.

Read about the L67 and what you can do for it.

Welcome to the site with that fantastic Monte

Welcome. I can't believe you found a 05 with only 7K miles on it. Very nice. I'm curious how much it cost, but I'll let you answer that only if you want to.

Doesn't sound too too bad considering the low miles.
