This is a thread I'm posting for the monte of the monte. I don't think I've ever done a post on here about what all my mods are. I'll try and get some pics in there too. I'll try and keep the mods organized by section:

I think that pretty well sums up the bulk of the mods to the car- obviously much more is coming soon (the next step is a biggie :) ). Other than the bottom end work on the engine- I have done all of the work; all the paint work, all the fiberglassing, the rest of the engine build, all of the pcm tuning, etc etc Any questions, just feel free to ask.

From here, it is only going to get more extreme. Once I get a garage- the first order of business is to finish the paintwork on the side skirts and hood, and to do some shaving (gas door due to rust bubbles, probably will relocate behind a taillight; and both locks/handles- since the car got broken into and the drivers side lock is gone).

Then starts the big part of the plan- rear wheel drive coversion using a camaro/firebird underbody setup (similar to the John Moss monte but w/ a V6). I don't have anything ironed out yet- but the idea is to use a T56 or TR6060 6 speed manual, stronger rear end, minitubbed for a 305mm+ rear tire (I'd like to be able to hook halfway well in lower gears on the street), CTS-V front calipers with the Z06 14" rotors, a tubular K member (for reduced weight), and a manual PS rack (less weight, more road feel, and I'll be able to run the belt on just the crank, alt, and 1 tensioner pulley). I'd also like to run coilovers (the idea is to be able to get as low, if not lower than I am now in the rear, but at all 4 corners- or raise it up to a more driveable height.

For the engine, I'll put on my YT IC finally, ZZP aluminum heads (hopefully), DP nitrous from under the LIM (this was supposed to be part of the original build, but I ran out of time), YT snout and pullies, the YT RWD TB adaptor w/ 90mm TB and 100mm MAF, a PRJ custom cam (bigger than what I have now).

Then I'll move back to audio and figure out what I'm going to do with the pieces I have left after the theft. I don't really want a gutted racecar- I just want something that will be unique and fun to drive on the street with an occasional trip to the track. I guess only time will tell...
