Yeah, it's usually a problem with low coolant isn't it?
I know I topped mine off the other day and it sure seems to warm up faster now.

I also found out there is a problem with the DEXCool getting sludgy from low coolant and clogging up the heater core. This problem happened in my 2000 TrailBlazer and I would assume it would happen to 2000+ Monte's as well. I have an inexpensive fix for it by doing a reverse flush, but I want to make sure it is a problem before throwing in useless fixes.

Sorry to bring back the dead but I would like to know if this ebook ever got finished and is available?
I did do a search for this DIY ebook but with no luck. I am new to the MCss club and I like my cars to be fixed and mod it the way I would like it to be. This ebook sounds like it would be a big help.
