I have a feeling that's what happened to me too. I got the car for thousands less than what the window sticker was asking.

As much as I liked the red 2006 SS that I test drove when it was new, I didn't want to pay the $30,000 the Chevy dealer was still asking for the car in october, 2006.

Now the '03 Pace car. I still think we got a good deal in it. :)

Yeah, the price for a new 7th gen is just crazy. Glad I got the used one.

I am not to sure if anyone would pay these prices. I paid right around $17,200 o.t.d. for my 2006 (already tinted windows!), with only 25,000 on it and it was certified and in perfect condition! I am a little jealous of the light grey interior in the red one, though. My black leather with a black car makes it like a sauna on a hot mid-summer day!

On a side note, anyone want to trade me their light grey leather for black leather? I will do all of the work swapping the interior pieces, you can just sit back and drink a beer or two, or maybe even three!

Not to, like, throw numbers around or anything, but I actually paid less, and my car had less miles. It was also certified used. I'm very happy with the deal I got, and what they gave me for my trade-in.

Personally, I don't like the light color interior much at all. Black on black, on black is a killer look for the SS, IMO.

It is. (Third black optional)
