Default To keep or not to keep

7/18/12 will mark one year since i got my monte and i've been thinking. Should i sell the car and work on getting something newer or should i just keep driving this one until something finally gives. I'm kind of stuck between both ideas so im reaching out to the mcf. And something newer means a newer monte:p Let me know what you guys think.

`Keane, look in2 your mirror the answer is there

Only you know what is best 4 U Ask yourself ? Is your present Monte doing the job you got it 4 ? How much will you have to spend to get a newer one ? Are you ready for higher payments or the depletion of your savings/funds etc ? Do you have the extra $'s to buy without giving up on other things you need in life ? Look in2 your mirror & ask the questions & hopefully your highly intellectual mind will provide you with the answers you need You are the driver of your `Life...drive it to where U wanta `be in & what you can afford 2 drive

I found it so much better to own a car, then have a car that owns you and you can't afford to drive/maintain/repair when needed.....Good Luck

Start saving, then sell yours and buy newer. Get a 3800 and you'll be happy

Its really a difficult thing to answer....

Your the only one who can make that decision...
When I bought mine...I said to myself,
Im gonna keep it til the wheels fall off..

13 yrs later...and they havent fallen off yet...LOL

I absolutely Love my MonteCarlo!
All the memories,Trips, Experiences, and still makeing more memories daily..
I could never part with mine...
Besides its 13 yrs old and still a head turner!!!
Im keeping it....

Good Luck with your decision...

If it was up to me..I'd say Keep it...
You do have a lot of time and effort Invested...

Ultimately....The decision is yours....

I'd sell and buy newer.
I doubt you'll miss it much.

Space im just looking for other peoples opinions as i'm quite stuck in the middle. I could probably go either way, keeping this car and see how long it lasts. Cosmetically she isn't in the nicest shape which kind of gives me a drive for something newer and cleaner, but other wise shes fine mechanically. If i do buy newer i will certainly get a 3800 powered car. But i suppose for now i'll stick with my original plan of driving this car until i hit a major roadblock. Thanks for the inputs everyone
