Jump Starting Situation Nearly Cost Me Plenty!
The Battery went dead.
I put the Charger on it for a few hours and tried it again. Nothing. Dead. I left the key on by mistake. AAA showed-up and connected the Cables of a Jump-Pack. The KEY was ON. When I started the Engine. The Heater Gauge Needle was all the way around to leaning right-on the Needle Pivot of the Gas Gauge. It freaked me out. At first I thought the car was overheating like a Nuke gone critical mass. Once I came to my senses; I ruled-out overheating. No warning light! The juice hitting the system from trying a few timed before getting a good connection caused the Heater Gauge Needle to gain enough momentum to cleat the top and fall to the left. Disconnecting the Battery for 20-Minutes caused the Dash Gauges to return to Home Position. 60 Inches of snow. By the way, .... This amused me. A complete flip is, ... a "Three-sixty!" This knucklehead watched his bike do a "Forty-six-eighty!" Yep. 46-80. (360 X 13). He lost his MoJo by passing a truck over double-solids. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXys-...1&feature=fvwp Rick Massey |
