207,000 is a pretty stout number! I'm aiming for 200,000 on mine!

03 Monte has 25k miles on it only problem is the intermediate steering shaft.
05 Monte has almost 70k on it (I only owned it for almost a year and put 10k miles on it) and the only problems I have with it is that half the radio bulbs burnt out including the passenger climate controller.

It's right behind my '86 LS.

The '86 was a high mileage car when I got it. At the time everyone still wanted $5,000 for their '86/87/88 SS Montes and I couldn't afford it. I know if I'd have looked harder I probably could have come up with a better car in my price range. I test drove the car (twice), I liked it, it seemed to be solid, my parents offered to purchase the car cause I sure couldn't afford it-very generous of them, and other then the torque converter which has been the only high dollar issue with the car so far it's been a decent auto for me.

Finding the missing smaller parts was a bit irritating but I managed.

I do get compliments on the car so I hope they're sincere comments.

154,xxx some odd miles, had about 152k on it when i bought it. '97 LS 3.1 SFI V6, factory alloy wheels, buckets & console interior, no spoiler, torch red & dark gray interior.

it had typical semi-abused 5th gen problems, i needed tires & brakes, it was super scummy / dirty, the passenger door would not open ( a nightmare to get that damn latch out too) the turn signal swich was bad, the console lids are busted & the finish on it is peeling, the dash is starting to lift around the airbags... i did a full tune up, even though it probibly did not need it, it had been setting... a coupla engine sensors, the upstream O2 sensor was bad, got a used window washer bottle & a set of centercaps.... like i said, typical stuff. got all that fixed, and i was golden for a while, then poped a brakeline last wednesday and rear-ended my buddies truck, so i gotta do a brakeline for now & in the spring straighten out the hood & hopefully paint the whole car
