idk maybe i feel thing have changed but i feel high miliage to me is 175-180+ k but that just me,

My 85 had 195xxx on it when it chewed up the cam,
Our saty Sl2 has 214xx on it, but spun a rod bearing at like 206xx i fixed and the trany blew up at like 207xxx(two weeks after i fixed the motor) so motor has 7k on the lower end rebuild and 6k on the trans after getting torn apart, cleaned, filters replaced and diff pin welde

imy dads 94 cougar xr7 has 450k on it it has been rebuilt when it was 350k on it. what i did on it was change the bottom end and replaced the valve springs and cams on it to new ones to the ones i wanted to put in it. runs great now like a top and gets four or five miles more now mpg on a v8. the silverado has 250k on it i had to replace all the seals as well as the valve guide seals but i didnt need to change all of them but when i was there i replaced them runs great still both vehicles run full synthetic.monte has 72k on it has full synthetic all the way round like the other two.

Mine has 194,000 km (126,000 miles)... I have never missed a sheduled oil change, tranny service, tune up & fuel filter... I have always used Penzoil, but I agree, it has very little to do with what kind of oil you're using and much more to do with religiously changing it when scheduled... I do not baby her... She is driven hard every day, that's why I bought her... Other than mods, she has never had a major service (except battery, brakes, tires & now struts & springs)...Knock on wood...
