Here is a link to a horribly written article that totally disses the 6th gen. Good for a laugh because haters just make it that much sweeter to own one. Anyways several mistakes in the article, read for yourself see if you can count all the mistakes because I couldn't keep track of them.

I'm surprised to see it, but I do appreciate the 5th gen love. So many times I've heard people say "it's just a Lumina" or "Lumina Carlo".
6th and 7th gens are great too though. In 2004 GM FINALLY put an L67 in the Monte. If that would have been the only engine available from 2000-05 SS' I think the 6th gen SS would have had people appreciating it a lot more. GM even stuffed an L67 in a 5th gen and promised that it was coming. Better late then never though.
7th gens have good looks too, and they have a v8. Just swap that out for an LS7 and then it's really fun

you know it! Don't get me wrong, I'd rock any Monte...just prefer mine the most.

I love that ( don't get me wrong I'd rock any Monte) yeah me too!! Everybody wants to take a photo with me by their Monte or sitting in it. Often they want me to drive it too. Couple of Monte's and a 55 Chevy for pics.
So I have not been able to open the link and the mouse is messed up on the computer. So I need to fix that. But I will check it as soon as I can, I like the 5th Gen. of course but as many 6th Gens as I have driven I would like them too. Never drove a 7th Gen. Let me interject this about cars sometimes it's all about how you drive the thing that makes it good or bad.
