Default Frame swap?

Hey guys/gals, I'm not yet a monte owner but i hope to be one if you can answer this question.

I'm looking at a 1970 Monte, its in fairly good shape, but i noticed there's a bit of rot in the frame. I know the monte frames are longer than chevelles, GS, cutlass, gto's, so what can i do here. Can i pick up an A body chevelle frame and extend it? or is there a frame other than the el camino's that i can use.

Thanks,
Matt

Hows the condition of the rest of the Monte that you
are looking at ?
Hope things work out for you in getting a Monte Carlo.
Good Luck

@KidSpace - The floors are solid, as is the trunk. The quarters and fenders have minimal rot, easy bondo fix, not worth new panels. and its got a posi rear end. The car doesn't have an engine or trans but i'm building a 454 from a bare block and i can pick up a trans later.

@MonteMan: I'll check that out, maybe a trip to the wreckers to take a look.
