Fog Light question?
This one kinda stumped me, hope I can get a solid answer :P
Alright so, one of my fog light bulbs has been blown since I got the car and I never really got around to getting a new replacement, and now I figured I'd get on it. I wanted to get something that would look cool that wasn't an HID so I was looking into 880 LED bulbs. My question here is, would 880 LEDs work for the fogs without ballasts or anything? Here's a link so a pair I found on eBay for reference: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PAIR-...Q5fAccessories |
they should i was looking at a pair of smd led bulbs. from what i hear no one on here has them , but they all agree that they are for show and do not have the same light output as halogen bulbs.

the led bulbs are not functional they look nice but dont really throw any light. i have them in a set of aftermarket projector fogs. if u want bright AND prett search ebay for a company called GP Thunder. I have them in my headlights. kinda have a bluish tint and resemble hids. about 20-25 bucks a pair

hey, I found a little video on youtube, its this guy comparing his led foglights vs his regular bulbs and he sys that its just not worth it and they are kidda pricey. so think about it. i already tried this once and i was really desapointed with the leds.
