Finally got my windows tinted on the Monte

Well I finally broke down and got my windows tinted to try to finish up that Red/Black look I have been working on getting. I have been busy lately with all this mod fever I have had with the header project and now this. I ended up doing 20% on the back windows and back side windows. Then 50% on the front windows. Trying not to get pulled over all the time since the law is 70% here in Iowa.

I really think it came out great and love the new look.

I like it, wish MN wasn't so strict on tint.

I like it. I may need to do the 50% in my front windows. I already have 20% in my rear windows.

Looks very nice, hopefully the lesser tint will keep you out of trouble with the law.

They can't be any worse than Iowa. I mean we can have any tint in back but 70% limit in front. What are the laws there?

thanks. I really like it too. It is like the perfect combo for me and I can really tell it makes driving it during the day much more comfortable

:rotfl: This is the first time I have ever had a vehicle tinted. I am for sure addicted now. I hope my Monte doesn't turn into a bigger cop magnet than it already was :rotfl:

Thank you. I was up at 2 am cleaning it for it's big day :thumbsup: everything seems to be coming along really nicely on it.

Definitely a must do imo. I think window tint should be a factory option on all cars, not just privacy glass on rears. Really sets the overall look, nicely done xxtheshockerxx.

I also had my front windshield tinted! and added a 9" eye brow....
Most cops don't know how to check to see if the front is actually tinted...
They just figure its the factory tint built in the glass...

It really deepens the whole overall look IMO!
at 1 angle it looks totally dark...(2nd pic)
in the (1st pic) you can see it really isn't that dark at all..:)

Very nice - sucks in IL I can only have 35% on the front side windows to stay legal. And it used to be no tint up until a few years ago.

Honestly If what I did was stock it would be pretty amazing and make the car pretty sharp right off the bat. Thank you.

That looks damn good. I didn't go with the strip up front because I didnt want a huge contrast in my line of view. I can always add it sometime later on. For right now I am just going to test the waters and see if I can get away with this. :rotfl: Thanks!

looks pretty good. I wish I could go a little darker up front. The guy that did the tint even thought it came out even better than he originally thought.

I wish Iowa let you have 35%. That was originally what I was going to get up front but once I saw it I knew I would get pulled over for it. Thanks Amy

What I like most about the eye brow across the windsheild..
It helps emmensely with that early morning and late evening sun!:thumbsup:

Oh yeah I bet it does. I had one in my first car and didn't mind it but I just wasn't ready to commit to it on the Monte yet :o

digging the look for sure but my inner ocd kicks in when i see mismatch tint grades lol i got mine done the first month i bought it and had 20% done all over....not really even sure what the law requires in indiana, but the cops here dont seem to mind the tint

That looks great. We can't have any tint in RI.

I cannot imagine driving a car without tint, idk what it is, but ive always liked being in a darker environment, makes driving seem more comfortable to me...remind me to not move to RI! ;)

I think I am addicted to it now. Never had tinted Windows before this and just the light tint Ihave it seems much better.
