Exhaust Questions
I'm looking to get a new exhaust for my 2003 SS. I know a lot of people don't like the loud ones... but well, I kinda do
The problem with my current exhaust is that when I'm accelerating, it gets quieter. You can really only here it when your in 1st gear. What would you guys suggest??

Hi Karl, what have you done to your exhaust ?
What mufflers do you have ?
Did you do the U-Bend Delete ?
A Cold Air Induction can really add to the sound when
you accelerate 4 Sure.
Please post what you have done & it will help member's give
suggestions on what to do...
I also love 2 hear the sounds of a deep exhaust @ all RPM's.

Good Luck & Happy Exhaust Tunes

I don't have anything done to my car just yet. For exhaust I have knock off of flowmaster. The problem isn't that its quieter at lower rpms, its that its quieter at higher rpms. I talked to my local shop today about some mods, as I have about 2,000 to put into the car. The plan is to get magnaflow exhaust, a k&n ram air, a hypertech programmer, high flow cats, a throttle body spacer, and my windows tinted for a little less then 1900. Does that sound good? Any comments or suggestions would be great!
K&N intake yes, look into a ZZP 2.5" Downpipe with high-flow cat, and the GMPP exhaust system shown here is a magnaflow exhaust system, branded on the mufflers and tips, but not on the website.
intake = $250ish, Downpipe = $200ish (depending on 304 or 409), exhaust = $500 + shipping (unless you get it from a dealer)
