dyno videos of my turbo monte
best pull was 384whp and 352 ft lb torque on 13psi. this is where i maxed out my maf. im sure i can hit over 400whp with it once i get my maf issue fixed.

Awesome

thanks guys, im planning on upgrading to the stattama kit in a year or so and trying to hit the 500hp mark then. but first i need to do some suspension work (torque steer is really bad!) im thinking the complete bmr kit and better sway bars for now and see how much that does for me.

That thing is a beast

Nice! and what tires are you running?

tires are just the cheapest knock off set i could find to get it running and tuned and inspected etc. there going to be coming off and nittos will be going on before i actually start driving it or trying to make a track pass. the wheels are 17"

Well no wonder you are having torque steer haha. If you even want to put that power down you will need a good set of slicks. If you don't want to run sicks get some nitto 555R drag radials. They hook amazing.
i am guessing i will have to go with 245x45x17 correct?
Thats Montes a beast!

thanks everybody. if anybody was wondering i had pat stritmatter tune it on the dyno jet at wyotech. here is the print outs

haha i know lol. i cant go slicks untill i get another set of wheels to mount slicks on so i was planning on going with the nittos. whats the best size (tallest and widest) i can go without rubbing? car isnt lowered. i was thinking about spacing them out 1.5" to run wider tires but idk if i wanna trust spacers with this kind of hp..... my major problem is my wheels are only 17x7.5.....
It's already been said, but AWESOME.
It's mainly going to be a street driven car, maybe 2-3 times at the track a year if that.
Alright then drag radials are the best bet I would say. The biggest you can fit on your rim without spacers, go with it.
Ok I asked my friend with a gp, he is running 26x10 slicks, and they rub under very sharp turning. It seems with the right offset though you can run up to a 9 inch wide one up front no issue.
I'm running 18x9 with this tire size all around, 255/45-18. I know for a fact that these will fit on an 04 as nemesis, formerly silver bullit had this exact tire rim combo on his 04. Obviously the height and rim size would be different due to 17's but you could go to 18's if you wanted also

Very nice:thumbsup:

Very cool Monte! Have fun moving towards that 500whp goal.
One question though, and I may have missed the answer somewhere, but what are you doing with your tranny? |
my trans was built by tim king, its got hd dif, hardened 4th gear, gm channel plate sleeve, ati 3500 stall converter, valve body upgrades, shift kit, z pac clutches, 7/8 2.93 chain, hardened pump shaft, 300m input shaft. i will try and get ahold of a 1" chain as soon as money allows since i will need it lol
Very nice
:congrats: Nice pull on the dyno.
Very Nice I have the same kit and am in the process of building a motor. Where did you go for your heads, do you find the car still drivable at 384hp, what gears did you go with in the trans. We could have a good conversation about this becasue like I said I have the same kit and building in the next few months. really like that car

Yeah tires will make a differance but not drasticly I dont think. I have torque steer now myself but nothing to major but all that will change in the coming months. I'm hooking up my water/methonal injection kit which will allow me to run 14 PSI so torque steer will be a deff. My trans is build by TEP all upgrades except for the 1" chain but Im on the look out for one of those. Trans has 3.29 gears with a 3500 stall as well. You say it idles well witha stage 5 cam thats good to know.

Hopefully they do make a major differance for you. I've got a stock L36 bottom end in the car right now but I have a L67 motor I'm building progressivly to be put in in the fall. I'm jamming 14psi to it anyways if it blows up just more reason to build the other faster hahaha. What are you planning on doing about the MAF issue?
if its anything like mine it will blow up, i shattered a con rod only running 10psi on a l36 engine. as far as my maf im either going to run a AFC or get a different MAP and just tune speed density and not use the maf at all.
Thats a BA engine build. Design of the appearance of the car not my thing but...the way that thing runs it doesn't matter what it looks like.
