Difference/Interchange-ability Tie Rods - LS-SS

Hi all,

Getting ready to buy ball joints and tie rods for my 07 LS. I see that there are two different offerings for outer ties, one for LS and one for the SS.

What is the difference?
Am I able to to get the SS ones and fit them on my LS?
Is there any advantage?

The price is the same. My thinking is to buy the SS ones just because in my squirrel brain, I am thinking that they might be beefier? Heavy Duty? No clue.

Any input would be appreciated.
