Dash peeled up.

Just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone here. I have an '06 LS and noticed about a week ago that the dash was peeled up right at the front window defroster. I took it to the dealer and thankfully they covered it under the warranty. Also guess there were two recalls on it. One for a reprogramming and another for a power steering hose. Both were done but I figured they would have checked on that stuff before they even sold the car.
Anyway, anyone had the dash problem happen?

The dash on my 2004 SS Dale Jr. car is doing that. It also looks like its slightly coming up where the defroster vents near the windshield are. This car was also garaged most of its life. Here are some pics.

The car set's inside. Under a car cover. I cover the car cover to keep the dust off. And it has not been outside since august.
I'm trying a section with some vinyl protectant to see if it helps? Otherwise I'm going to find out just how good my extended warranty really is.
Wonder what could have caused this??????????????????????

Here are my dash pics. It's kind of hard to see, but the dash actually warped downward like it melted then it curls all the way back up facing back. This is the middle, but it's also a little warped close to the drivers side where the two pieces meet.
My Dale Jr edition is doin this same exact thing. Lookin at it bugs the hell outta me! I wanna get it fixed.

You don't have to replace or pull the entire dash in case anyone is confused. The top dash pad comes off by itself. the dash pads are the same from 2000-2007 so if you find one in a boneyard it would bolt right in. Or you could remove it and try to reglue it id think.
I did just a swap for an 06 LT that same as others was coming up at the defrost vent. Went to pull a part found a nice pad from an 03 monte, and installed it. Think they charged $25 for the dash pad.
Think next time I go ill pull every one I see in good shape and have plenty around for those like us that this drives crazy lol.
