custom oil cap
just throwing an idea out there...i have a blank oil cap for my valve cover..and thinking of doing something custom to it....maybe seeing how i dont have a knights crest on my grill anymore because of my slp grille.......i thinking of maybe attaching one on the oil cap......or maybe putting a vinyl overlay of a bowtie or something...

Sounds interesting... Post pics...:)

I think the crest would look good, maybe even one of the classic crests if you could find one.

I thought for sure this was going to be a joke about installing a "710" cap.
http://kalecoauto.com/images/710cap.jpg I don't know how well the knight's crest or bowtie will hold up to the heat under the hood. There are some alternatives available though. http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/7/9/7...1434509_tp.jpg http://i.ebayimg.com/t/GM-CHEVY-CAMA...9D7Wg~~_12.JPG http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/1/0/1...0982077_tp.jpg |

Found it on ebay. It's labelled as being for a camaro. But in it's list of compatible applications, it lists the 2003 Grand Prix GTP with the supercharged 3.8. The cap looks to be a standard cap they have in stock. The only difference is the logo in the center. You have to stick the logo on yourself after you put the cap on. So the logo faces the correct way.
If this does fit the 6th gen Monte, I think I'll be getting one for myself. (Listing says more than 10 available) LINK--->http://www.ebay.com/itm/GM-CHEVY-CAM...a13162&vxp=mtr |

I can understand that Dave. I'm just wondering how well the knight's crest would hold up to the heat. It wasn't really designed to be installed under the hood.
