along Hwy 1 south to Big Sur and you can take some cool photo's of that landslide that happened down there. Maybe drive over the landslide and go to the other side.
Someplace near this landmark!

I work in the Insurance biz. DO NOT TAKE any offers U R a lot to argue to get your money/ save your car. That 1/4 is a uni-side try to find one yourself at a yard that way that will save from the Bodyshop ,marking the part up by 25%. They will try to total your car at 71-74% of its actual cash value(ACV). I was hit last year ( not my Monte) but my 05 Sportage I paid 6400 for it $ my neighbor totaled it,I fought every offer& counter offer his insurance gave me... I fought for 5 months with them & came out making money. IF YOU NEED anything just ask me or PM me & will be glad to help you. Good luck

Just south of that bridge is a dirt road - Old Coast Road. Would be a good break in trip.
The north side of the slide is cut off by earlier disasters - Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge came down in the winter. 30 or so miles north of the Mud Creek slide. Maybe something like a 1977 Trans Am or 1969 Dodge Charger could clear it.
Gotta go all the way south on 101 then west on 46 to get to the slide. When I read that there is now 15 more acres of land added to the coast I could just see the real estate people licking their chops.
The Outback picture was taken in the old Fort Ord. Shame that I had to find a spot that did not have trash strewn about.

It sounds like you've given this a lot of thought! You got a particular color of each model in mind? I was thinking more like an '83 Trans Am - black

I looked a Monte last Thursday, mine had the recall posted against it!
Was listed as Open recall - not fullfilled/ NOT fixed

I must have collected a dozen key recall postcards because I did not bother with it. If one does not carry a pound of flair hooked to the keychain and have a 2 foot long lanyard advertising Bad Boy Bail Bonds on it, one should be ok. Besides, the GM stealership in town never had the part in stock and wanted to schedule an appointment.

My 2005 Expedition traveled from California to Texas, got another 60K miles on it and ended up in Idaho.
The $1500 Firebird disappeared from the planet it seems, likely it got stripped for parts.
