Amazon.com: Power Acoustik Crypt CPT1-2000 Monoblock 2,000-Watt Amplifier: Electronics

Is this a pretty good one I just have one Kicker 12 in a ported box that will be going in the Monte Carlo this summer so would this work good for me?

You only need a 800 watt mono amp with 400rms watts

BlackRainSS 02-09-2012 08:28 PM

Would you have any suggestions? Jw mostly lookign on amazon. I figured unless the price was a lot cheaper on the lower amps I'd go with a higher one for the smae price in case I upgrade.

03JGMonte 02-09-2012 08:32 PM

Well first off a lot of the cheap amps don't even put out near the power they say, an amp is one thing you don't wanna cheap out on I'll look a few up

instead of amazon go to a more trusted site. like www.crutchfield.com Like mike said dont go cheap on the amp and you need to match the amp with the sub

BlackRainSS 02-09-2012 08:35 PM

Ok. Thanks, because I have a 600 watt DUAL brand amp right now and its just not good enough for me right now I mean its pretty good just looking to get a bit louder. And I was going off review based but hey lol let me know what you find not doing it until summer.
