Advice on a 01 SS

Hello all, I just got my 2001 Monte SS with ~129,000 miles fixed at the dealer. All problems were fixed and it is running at tip top shape. I'm thinking about selling it at the end of this year. How much do you guys think I can sell it for? It has a few upgrades, borla exhaust, cross drilled rotors, k&n airfilter and a new Sony bluetooth mp3 cd deck. Let me know what you guys think.

Probably less than what you bought it for. Cars dont increase value until they become very old and some still dont. A car is not something to invest in, its kinda the complete opposite as a house. I would just keep it unless there is a dire need to get rid of it.

Well bluebook price looks to be around $5100. Do you guys think I might get more or less than that?

Good luck with the sale, but i would be very surprised if you can get close to what KBB is saying they are worth. In reality, expect less due to the economy. People are just not buying expensive cars right now. Money is tight these days.

$4000 - $4500

Being over 100K miles is a huge killer for a lot of people.

If you know local people with Montes, you could probably sell them your exhaust and swap the stock one on. Air filter isn't an "upgrade" and the radio won't add value.

I would agree, you are looking at 4,000ish, maybe 4,500.
