Aaah so beautifull. I covet it. How could the owner part with this? Looks like he had fun drivin it with 25K miles. I heard of a dude that had a mint Dale Earnhardt Signature Edition, after 5 yrs traded it in w/only 300 miles on it. Just kept it in his garage and sat by it. Doesn't sound like anybody here, does it? [sm=joke.gif]

Was that Earnhardt edition the 5th gen one? If so, I think I saw that one on ebay a while back. VERY rare (1 of 25) Monte Carlo customized and autographed by Dale Earnhardt at his dealership back in 1996 (I think. not 100% on the year.).

That 2007 is very nice. I've seen a couple of the 2006 & 2007 Nascar editions for sale.
I like the power of the 07 SS, but I think I would have to go with the autographed 5th generation Dale edition for rarity and collectibility. The 2007 looks to be very easy to copy on any 07 SS with the possible exception of the Nascar badges.

I'd take both, but for different reasons.

Man I wish my floormats were still in that shape...

I'm not much for the stripes on the hood and extended to the bumper (I like ends like mine). I don't think I've ever found out if it was a true hood or some stick on piece (I don't like the stick ons).

I do like the badging though, makes me want to just say screw it and pay the $80 for the RS badges.

The hood scoop looks like it is stuck on. Possibly stuck on top of the stripes.
Looking at the pic of the engine bay, we know it isnot functional.
I'm not crazy about the Nascar decal on the windshield. Looks too small compared to the size of the windshield. Besides, with all the other Nascar logos all over the car, the windshield decal is a little overkill.

Overall,it looks like a really nice appearance package.

IMO, that is whats killing that car.
Its been listed over and over again for the last 2 months.
Price isn't too bad nor anything else other than that stupidly placed fake scoop.

I think the price has something to do with it also. You can get a regular 2007 Monte SS with similar (or less) mileage for A LOT less money.
I realize it's a limited edition Pace Car, but still.

I don't like the fake stick-on hood scoops either. I think they should have made a hood with the scoop molded into it for the Pace Car edition Montes. Even better if they would have made it functional too.

Yes, then I would be out there looking for one instead of making my own once I learn fiberglass.
