Default 2006/2007 Monte Carlo Foglights, using H9 bulbs instead?

Just wondering if anyone has replaced the stock fog light bulbs H11 55W WITH the High Beam H9 65W bulbs? I would imagine it would be quite the improvement?

I had the headlights out last night and it is the same connector for both H11's and H9's

Regards,

Jason

i would imagine it would be brigther if the head light lines are limited to 55 w you might blow a fuse, anyway just to test them pull your hb out and put them in your fog lights and see if you see a difference, and that way you dont have to waste money on some bulbs just yet

The highbeams are 65W, while the fogs are only 55W.

Just get some brighter bulbs... here's the bulb list from sylvania silverstars:

yup... you don't?? there should be a small white plug dead-center at the top of your trunk when you open the trunk lid...

open your trunk - and in the middle, right below the black rubber seal, there should be a little light up under there... white plug going up to it. Maybe the plug is knocked out or not in all the way... it's easy to hit putting stuff into the trunk - I've done it before...

Speaking of lights

Has anyone tried the new Sylvania Silverstar Ultras?? They are supposed to be 20% brighter than regular silverstars.
