2005 Monte Carlo Supercharged SS questions

Hi, I'm new to this forum and had some questions regarding a 2005 Chevy Monte Carlo Supercharged SS. I saw one at a local dealership with 50,000 miles that looks great and can't stop thinking about it. I have a few questions: How reliable is the Monte Carlo? What exactly does the Supercharged mean? Is it a good daily driver? Thanks for any information.

I have an 04 Monte Carlo, it does not have the supercharger on it, but I do have approximately 185,000. I've driven my car on a daily basis for two years now it has been more than reliable. the car you're looking at has a supercharger and you ask what the supercharger was. my best explanation is that it's a device that sits on top of the engine that forces air into the intake to give you more power. when I was in the market for my car the dealership had two Monte Carlos 1 supercharged and one not supercharged. I chose the unsupcharged version mainly because of the price difference, the supercharged version they had was a special edition and they're asking double the money for it, granted it has less miles I was not willing to spend that much. I also think it is worth noting that the supercharged Monte Carlos require a higher octane gas.
