2003 monte ss transmission in a 2002 monte carlo.....

I pulled (actually dropped) my rebuilt tranny out of 2003 monte carlo ss 3.8 . I now want to get it into my 2002 monte carlo 3.4. I have read that it goes right in but there is one minor alteration. can someone tell me what it is? thank you!!!!!

There's an electrical harness that changed in 2003. I'm not sure if you can swap that harness from your old to the new in order for it to work. I'm not sure how to actually make the swap work. I always recommend people 2002 and below to get a 98-02 trans.

Your transmission has an electrical harness of HARNESS 24241205
And the 2003 uses HARNESS 24237264
