yeah, you really should move the camera a bit further away from the tips, sounds distorted when you blip the throttle since it's so close. Another thing I think you should do are some acceleration/take off vids cause most exhausts sound good for the 3.4 at idle but under acceleration sound like doodoo. Yours sounds like it's got some potential but the jury is still out until we can hear it w/o distortion and under acceleration.

 

Maybe do a Y pipe and another muffler?? It would definatly sound better. But it for sure sounds good now. And i disagree, All the 3400's Ive head sound just as good with a drive by. Feel free to correct me.

 

^ agreed. My LS sounded pretty nice. My high RPM sound was a little too "high pitched", but were talking 4k+. those flowmasters sound nice, but you should get duals put on that baby! its not much more and makes it look 5x more awesome!

 

Exhaust sounds great! But have to agree with 04MonteLS. Next time don't put the microphone directly in the path of the exhaust. It ruins the sound.

And it makes your camera smell like unleaded. :p

A little more constructive criticism if I may... try not to move the camera so violently. It tends to make the viewer sea-sick. Not asking you to be Spielberg or anything. Just saying you might want to be a little smoother when you move the camera around.

I do like the plans you have for your Monte. The pace car spoiler and SLP grill will really change the look of your car. Nice sound system you have too!

Maybe save up your money for some kickass rims of your liking for your next upgrade.

 

Thanks guys, and for sure, I will make another sound clip from further back as soon as I have time, as well as a drive by and under accelaration, it really sounds good driving around at about 1800 to 2000 RPM, it is a very low rumble. I love it. And I am thinking about a y pipe and a matching muffler but I dont wanna drop the $$ on it right now. Rims are kinda out of the question as I live on an acreage and I drive alot of gravel, so low-pros are probably not a good idea lol. It has the impala rims on it and i dont mind the looks. I will try to have another video up without distortion and under accelaration ASAP.
