RE: 1998 a/c vent problem
Hello Redneck,
Your problem most likely is due to a vac problem somewhere in the A/C system. Your A/C vent control system uses vacuum to operate the vent doors. I would start by pulling your dash apart to check those vac lines for leaks. Secondarily, as you have your a/c system apart check each vent door's mobility. It may simply be that something is just stuck. Post back and let us know what you find... TVW |

Cool.... I am glad you were able to trace down your problem!!! Vacuum lines become brittle and require replacement after a period of time which should be a high focus item after 4-6 years.
