thats what people said with old impallas, 442 or any muscle car back in 70's on down... back then they were a dime a donzen. i'm sure people bought that JUDGE charger they didn't know the value would one day jump up to what it is now

im gonna have to agree with the price range of about 8000 to 12500. when i first bought the car in 2001 before the motor rebuild i was researching some resale amounts at that time and i found a couple about the same condition as mine for prices or 8500 and 12000. when i call to check to see if they were still available, they were sold within a week of being added in autotrader magazine which is where i found those two. would we all agree a fair price to start around with its current condition be about 11000 OBO. then depending on delivery of course.

I dont know about that price. Look on ebay. I would think more like Chibi said , around 7-8K. Not many people will pay that when interior and exterior need work, granted you said paint and small interior fixes. GLWS and as they say There is an As hole for every seat. Just gotta find the one that wants it for 12K. (I am not knocking your car).

I think you'll find the 86 more valuable

I mean, it's a nice car. I'm just giving you the probable price to sell it right now. It already has the rebuild of the engine that loses some value. Do you have that fully documented?

Plus you are saying this needs work, paint, interior needs work, etc.

Maybe MAYBE if this thing was MINT all over you could pull over 10k

I think Hemmings is a good source for estimated prices, but
in the real World, I think it comes down to how BAD a future Owner wants one & what they are willing 2 PAY to get what they really, really want....

That's all from `Space....`amen

Hey guys, I'm new but I think 15k in mint condition is reasonable. I had someone offer me 20k when mine was in really good shape. Talked with the guy for awhile and decided not to sell. I got ahold of someone from chevy and they researched and found that in 1987 117 were made with T-tops in black. So hold onto that one.
