Removing ignition lock cylinder without the key

This is not me, not my video, I take no responsibility for it's content or use. BUT I stumbled by on YouTube and felt it was worth sharing here.
Keep in mind, this is if you don't have the key for the car.
There are multiple ways to handle getting the lock cylinder out of the ignition switch (with and without the key). This reduces removing the dash. But if you pull off the rubber piece he shows, you either won't get it back on or it may not sit right (he broke some of the rubber pieces to hold it into the dash).

If you have to mess with a lock cylinder, watch this video. Even if you don't need his method, he explains a lot and could be helpful as you do your own repair/project.

Thanks for posting, used this to get a junkyard ignition switch after cutting the cable off, then drilled out the key so i could use the switch.

I drilled the first hole on the left then realized tumblers are on the bottom of how I had it mounted. The second drilling hole on the bottom, below the key hole allowed me to rotate the ignition cylinder
