Very nice Richard!!! I could have used those detailed instructions when I installed mine!!!! I had no idea that the K&N filter didn't come pre-oiled. My CAI made by K&N that I have in the 03 came pre-oiled. Go figure.

patience is the answer for this exactly! when a friend of mine did the CAI for my car it kinda was a pita but in the end it got installed correctly, great "how to" Richard, thanks

AWESOME write up! This helps a TON as I plan on ordering a ZZP CAI for my S/C Monte. This is PERFECT and now I know what to do, before it even arrives! Thank you VERY much!

Great write-up... the only thing is that item you are calling a MAF, is actually the PCM

The MAF sensor is in the throttle body right behind that screen
