How to remove your dash (video)
Here's a video that I did on how to remove your dash. Allowing you to get to your deck, HVAC, dimmer switch and gauge cluster. I also show what screws are needed to remove those.

Thank you so much. Need to replace hazard relay and was not sure about it. You made it a less stressful decision.

*Thumbs up* very useful.

Thanks guys.
Hope this helps lots of people, it's not too hard after you do it once, it's just all about knowing what to do the first time. Any questions feel free to post them here/pm me/message me on youtube/comment on the video. |
after watching the video for 1:20 minutes i got dizzy cuz of too much camera movement lol. i notice in the video you have a grand pee shift knob with high performance shift button is the button wired? i think the grand pee shift knob is too big and goofy looking. the regal shifter is little smaller and prob better looking...all in all imo the monte shifter is sportier and better looking than the grand pee and regal i think. i have couple of regal shifter knobs if you change your mind and plenty more for the grand pee.

I have the kenwood DDX-514, and it's connected with the Axxess GMOS-04 and an antenna adapter for the radio: wiring harness: http://www.amazon.com/GMOS-04-OnStar.../dp/B000980HC4 antenna adapter: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_12040GM...r.html?tp=2569 Also, for my headunit i needed a double din mounting kit, but you will also need it for a single din headunit: double din: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_003GMK4...t.html?tp=3121 Single din: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1209920...t.html?tp=3121 Also, have the Kenwood KCA-BT200, for the bluetooth interface with my phone. Lastly as far as actual sounds go, I have two amps, (1) Alpine MRP-M500 for my Alpine Type-R 10", and (1) Alpine MRP-F300 for my two kicker DS650.2 components in the front doors. I also have a 1.5k Farad Capacitator, but that was more just for looks. The Alpine Type-R is in a box built to specs and I have no rear speakers, so the rear speaker holes are acting as ports. Hope this helps, if you check more of my vids on that account you can see most of the stuff I just listed. |
