Question about replacement handle

I posted a question about having to replace my sons gear shifter knob/handle in his 04 Monte SS, since you've already done this, did the new handle you bought come with the white plastic plunger part that goes down into the stick part? Right now not only did his handle break off but the white plastic plunger is broke in half and still intact inside of the gear shifter part attached to car. Thankfully when we push down on it with a screwdriver it allows him to shift the gears. Anyway, I need to find parts for this fix and also need to know if we have to buy the handle and a separate plunger piece seperately. Any help would be appreciated. I'm in a hurry to find parts and get it fixed!

You have to upload them to a site like photobucket, or imageshack. Once you do use the direct link, copy and paste the link into that box and hit ok. I always delete the url that is currently in there, otherwise it might not work next thing you know your screaming.
