Default Intercooler install? ZZP Stage 3 FMHE?

Has anyone installed the ZZP Stage 3 FMHE on their Monte? I have a 02 and was thinking about buying one but someone said it was possible that Monte's had trouble installing this FMHE. Anyone?

I'd have to double check which stage mine is, but it is that same style from zzp and it bolted up with no issues.

Someone said I might have an issue with the Stage 3 because of the end tanks and that make it wider. Did you cut your bumper support to install it? Have any pictures?

I didn't have to cut the bumper at all, but I don't have pics. I need to remember to remember to grab a measuring tape next time I'm outside to measure the heat exchanger, not positive that it's the stage 3.

Which one is that from Frozenboost? Everyone is saying I should run a radiator style one because its bigger and functions better?

Is that this one Silver? Have you had any leaks?

yes that's the same one i have. no leaks issue i have so far. don't buy the whole kit from zzp bcuz the hose that come with the kit is too short to run both the inlet/outlet lines from the core. you can get the rest of the installing kit from frozen boost cheaper. pretty much same thing as what zzp have in their kits. only parts you need from zzp are the gen v cores, gaskets and longer bolts if you decide to buy new.
