You didn't have to do the relearn?

You want to do a total of 3 On/Off cycles. After waiting 10 seconds for the 3rd time start the vehicle.

The PCM has to 'learn' the correlation between the key and the passlock sensor so a (security) relearn is needed.

I knew that, just curious as to why I didn't have to go through this with mine? Must not be a requirement for all of their PCMs?

You can get lucky and not have to do it, but usually you have to. No harm done if you didn't have to do it though

Tomorrow is Monday... I would contact them and clarify the process to the letter... It should never be this hard unless you got a dud!!!... Good luck and let us know...

I ran into the same problem when I installed my ZZP PCM. No instructions came with it so I searched and found the answers on Intense-racing.com. I have since swapped out my zzp pcm for an overkill pcm. IMO it is so much better than the zzp pcm and the shift points are way better. Just look under intense's pcm page for the info and links.
