I know it says up to 2003 but i wonder if they would fit a 2004 s/c?

I'm pretty sure they would fit an '04 monte, but not an '04 gp

Some people with rockers say they dont make much of a difference, but if you go with any I say get the modded 1.9 ratio ones off of zzp. Its got an extra .1 haha

what do you mean not much of a difference?

Yes, your 04 S/C is the same exact engine as the grand prix 97-03 engine. Actually, I don't see any reason why they wouldn't fit the 04+ L32 in the grand prix's either; I didn't think they changed anything with the rockers.

The reason the site isn't updated is because Thrasher is dead- they retired their drag car a long long time ago, haven't come out with a new 3800 part in years (4-5 maybe?), and haven't updated their site in a long long time.

IMO, your better bet is to go on ZZP- at least they're still an active vendor.

Look at the Yella Terra rockers they sell:

Not sure if they can still special order the other ratios (Yella Terra is the big 3800 company in Australia)- but even if they're no longer made; you're still getting a 1.9 rocker versus a 1.8, and they're $100 cheaper.

I will say though if the reason why you wanted 1.8's instead was so you could run stock valve springs, then you're better off with modded stockers:

which is only half the price of the SLP's from Thrasher.

They are technically a "1.9", but since the stock rockers deflect more than the big aftermarket bodies- actual lift is closer to a 1.8 aftermarket rocker- and they work fine with stock springs (as long as you keep close to the stock shift points and aren't revving the snot out of it).

They don't make a ton of difference on NA 3800s. With a SC'd 3800- you also get the added benefit of knock reduction, allowing you the ability to run a smaller SC pulley (along with other mods).

However, the people who usually downplay the effectiveness of rockers are those who have went with a cam- a lot more power gain for little more money (but tons more labor).
