Whirring noise

Hey all, when I turn on my car, I here this like whirring noise... It sounds like something spinning or vibrating. It typically goes away after a few minutes... What is it? Anybody know? I wanna know if it is a problem with my car.

I am also getting a "Service engine soon" Light, and nothing is happening bad. I had the error code looked up, P0441.... Anybody have any experience with it? I looked it up in the haynes manual and it says "Evaporative Emmision Control System".....

Sounds like you have a vac leak somewhere. Track down that sound and I'll bet you'll find you problem.

They replaced the PCV valve before I bought it, and if it comes on again, on Tuesday they are going to look at it. Would this also relate to the whirring noise?

It could be related. Have you popped the hood to see if you can locate the noise?
