Turbo kit...Need Help?
 

So this might be the most n00b oriented question out there, but I'm doing it anyways. The story goes is that instead of buying an 06 Monte SS with the 5.3, I figured the cheaper alternative is buying a turbo kit, however, I am wondering if somebody could get me an entire parts list as to what they needed. My brother (a certified mechanic) and I will attempting to do this. He's already done a top swap with his 98 Monte Z34 and has worked flawlessly. Anyways, I have a 2000 Monte Carlo SS with the 3800 Series 2 (of course) with roughly 130,000 miles. I assume that with the turbo, the tranny might not be able to handle all the extra power. At any rate, if anybody could get me an entire parts list, and other recommended ideas it'd all be greatly appreciated. (The reason being for asking for all this is because I'm 18 and currently work 50+ hours a week between two jobs.) Anyways, Thanks again.......Patrick.....
