i heard those E3 plugs were pretty good...

( yha i know they list em for furd trucks, but that sight has some good info about the product)
keep in mind there is nothing wrong with some plain ol' autolite plugs, it all depends on the size of your budget.

if your doing a tune up, MAKE SURE to get a new air filter and PCV valve, and if you have over 100,000 miles on your car you should probibly do a fuel filter, too.

I would actually go with the NGK TR55's. The E3's are $6.49 each. The TR55's are $14 for six, and they are nice plugs. Check them out here: http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_p...=240&catid=109
They also have wires and fuel filters, etc that you can buy from them.

IMO, I would just get OEM platinum plugs and OEM or equivalent wires. Then you should be good for almost another 100k.

From what I've learned the L36 engine in stock, or near stock form doesn't benefit from getting "high perforamance" or more expensive wires/plugs. The L36 in that year comes with platinum plugs, guaranteed for 80,000-100,000 miles, and the wires will yield the same results whether they're OEM or MSD or JPG or whatever. Save your money, get OEM replacements and you'll be pleased.

I would stick with genuine OEM AC Delco plugs and wires!
