Transmission knock?
 

Hey guys,

hopefully some of the wrench heads are still around.
i have a knock coming from the engine bay (ls4 btw), few ppl thought collapse lifter, i took the top end apart, seems ok. The noise seems to coming from the bottom and seemed more prominent with the inspection cover off the tranny.

hopefully the video im trying to attach uploads.

anyways, could the tranny itsef be knocking? Cracked flex plate? Pump?

Seen plenty of cracked flexplates on 3800s, can't say I've ever heard of one on a LS4. Nothing visible with the cover off?

nothing at first glance, but i'll have a better look tonight or tomorrow.
don't mind the mess under there... oil pan been slowly dripping for a bit now... one more thing on the list....
