the lines going to the radiator are located on the passenger side of it, towards the engine bay. they're metal. one is near the top of the rad, the other closer to the bottom

Yes it actually just came on the other day. It wasn’t on before when this problem was happening.

If your engine rpm is going crazy, it could be your throttle position sensor, or like in my case I had a similar problem, the plug going to the sensor needed to be replaced also.

2005 Monte Carlo - intermittent transmission issue, makes a popping noise like it's trying to find the gear, pretty sure the car sat for a couple years, my mother purchased it in 2015 w/only 75000 miles on it, and when she passed away she gave it to me and it only had 80000 miles on it, had to drive it from Montana to Florida, issue started about half way back, stopped and had the transmission fluid flushed/replaced, issue not as bad but is still occurring (usually only happens as I am taking off from a dead stop), being told I need my PCM tuned, did the researched found it may cost anywhere from $50-$400 to fix, I'm not a total idiot when it comes to mechanics but I think this is a little outside my comfort zone and I have been screwed by mechanics before, I am looking for a transmission shop in Tampa FL that can take a look / fix the issue, thank you for your time :-)
