I want to replace leaking gaskets on my `04 Intimidator. I hear the intake manifold sometimes has to be replaced. are they really beyond repair.. they are pricey

 

IMO rare that they need completely replaced.

If absolutely needed you should be able to find a used one cheap - local junkyard, ebay, etc, they're super common in the used market - youll probably pay as much for shipping as the part costs.
